When Rebuilding the foam seats, a steam injector and large enough tub to hold all of the metal sections. The steam injector helps to reinflate the foam sections of the cushion and help them to be more elastic. My seat sections were a bit rusty across their entire surface. To remove the rust, a mixture of 1 part molasses to 10 parts water makes a a cheap and effective rust remover if you have the patience to wait approx. 2 weeks. I used bait molasses from the hunting store at ~$9 per gallon. Since it is a sugar, add some bleach to kill off any microorganisms. Wash and paint quickly to prevent flash rust.
